• Over 20 years working at Superintendence of Private Insurance (SUSEP), the Brazilian Insurance Supervisor, where obtained broad experience with life and non-life insurance contracts and actuarial issues as well as insurance, open private pension funds, capitalization and financial inclusion regulation.
• From 2012 to 2015: General-Coordinator of the General Coordination of Products, sector at SUSEP in charge of market conduct supervision and rules regarding insurance, open private pension and capitalization plans.
• Since 2006 engaged in financial inclusion and microinsurance activities, as member of the IAIS-CGAP Joint Working Group on Microinsurance (Acting Chair from 2008 to 2012) and SUSEP’s representative at the IAIS Financial Inclusion Working Group. In 2008 was assigned Coordinator of the SUSEP Working Group on Microinsurance, created to support the Brazilian Multilateral Consultative Commission on Microinsurance and, in 2012, member of the Microinsurance Working Group, constituted to set up MI rules in Brazil, and SUSEP´s representative at the COREMEC Financial Inclusion Subcommittee.
• From 2004 to 2008, as the International Relations Coordinator, responsible for liaise with international bodies and supervisory associations involved in relevant issues to the markets supervised by SUSEP; member of the Brazilian Delegation at the Financial Services Group Meetings in the World Trade Organization (WTO); and Coordinator of Brazilian Delegation in the Insurance Commission and the Solvency Margin Sub-commission / SGT-4 / Financial Issues / MERCOSUL.
• Participation in and/or coordination of many working groups aiming to regulate insurance lines and other technical issues.
• Panelist at innumerous events both national and international, highlighting the International Microinsurance Conferences, in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.
